Financial Controller/Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Accountant to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function within our growing business. This is a hands-on role suited to a finance professional who enjoys working across all aspects of accounting, from payroll and bookkeeping to management accounts, budgeting, and year-end reporting.

Working closely with senior management, you will play a key role in providing accurate financial information, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting business decision-making. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple finance responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly management accounts, P&L reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations

Budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis

Payroll processing and statutory compliance

Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping

Year-end accounts preparation and liaison with external accountants/auditors

Maintaining financial controls, procedures, and compliance requirements

Cash flow monitoring and financial reporting to management

What We're Looking For

Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA Ireland, CIMA) or equivalent relevant experience.

Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting

Payroll and bookkeeping experience

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong Excel and accounting software skills

Ability to work independently and proactively within a small team environment

Pay: €50,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
