Job Description
The Product Manager is responsible for translating brand strategy into customer- and channel-specific activation plans, delivering profitable and sustainable growth through optimized promotional ROI and flawless in-store execution.
The role bridges strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring strong portfolio performance, successful innovation launches, and effective trade marketing activation across channels.
The Product Manager owns the full product lifecycle and acts as a key business partner to Sales, Commercial Excellence, Category Management and European Marketing teams.
Main Responsibilities :
Portfolio & Strategy
Own and manage the product portfolio strategy and lifecycle (innovation pipeline, positioning, pricing, phasing)
Define and execute the innovation roadmap with Sales and European Marketing
Build innovation business cases and launch plans (local 6P’s strategy, distribution, RTM, pricing, promotion)
Trade & Marketing Planning
Translate brand strategy into trade and marketing plans by channel and customer
Lead advertising and media strategy, including PR and influence
Define trade marketing strategies with clear KPIs and ROI tracking
Support Key Account Managers and category manager with selling stories and promotional recommendations
Range & Pricing Management
Ensure range efficiency and profitability
Manage pricing architecture and range updates
Budget & Financial Management
Manage the yearly marketing budget
Ensure daily financial follow-up (POs, invoices, suppliers)
Identify and evaluate investment and project opportunities
Market & Performance Analysis
Analyze market performance by channel and segment (sell-in, sell-out, market share)
Monitor competition and identify growth opportunities
Track marketing, media and innovation performance and adjust plans accordingly
Execution Excellence
Lead end-to-end execution of marketing and activation plans
Ensure high-quality deployment across media, PR, in-store and innovation launches
Drive trade marketing execution and KPI follow-up
Ensure strong internal alignment through clear communication
Customer & Commercial Support
Participate in key customer meetings with Sales
Present innovation plans, market insights and growth opportunities
Daily Activities
Monitor sell-in, sell-out, market share and promotional ROI
Analyze market and competitive data by channel
Manage range changes, pricing updates and rationalization processes
Coordinate innovation launch execution and follow-up
Build, deploy and track marketing and trade activation plans
Collaborate closely with external agencies (Design, creatives, media, ...) as well as with internal stakeholders (Sales, Global, ...)
Support Sales with customer presentations and selling stories
Manage budgets, POs and invoice follow-up
Align with Demand Planning on forecasts and availability
Track media and activation performance and recommend optimizations
Ensure cross-functional alignment and communication
Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Business, Commercial, Marketing or a related field
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in Sales or Marketing (Product/Brand Management, Sales, etc.)

Tools & Languages
Strong proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Proficient in Canva for creating marketing, trade and presentation materials
Fluent in English and Dutch. French is a strong plus.
