Responsibilities:
Design, support, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems for the testbed environment
Development of IT solutions for technical challenges including implementation, consulting internal stakeholders about technological solutions, and defining scopes of service
DevOps for testbed and user-specific applications throughout the complete lifecycle
Troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues
Software change management, e.g., GitLab
What we are looking for:
A university degree in computer science or a comparable technical subject
Professional experience as a Linux server administrator; experience with virtualisation and backup systems is desirable
Required: programming knowledge in C/C++, PHP, JavaScript, and experience working with SQL databases (MySQL)
Strong commitment and willingness to perform, flexibility and reliability, a careful and responsible working style as well as strong teamwork skills
Good verbal and written skills in both German and English
