Design & Engineering Manager

Responsibility

Review new product requirement from top management through verbal OR mail. Ø Visit customer sites for study new design concept if required. Ø Finalized design concept as per requirement and review with top management. Ø Make assembly drawings in solid edge. Ø Do the concept designing based on related inputs & requirements in solid edge. Ø Check assembly drawings in solid edge and review the same as per product requirements. Ø Check 3D modeling and release it for 2D drafting. Ø Check 2D drafting and give correction if required. Ø Release drawings to concern departments or release for attachment in ERP. Ø Create item code in ERP as per concern department requirements. Ø Generate customer bill of material (CBOM) as per internal work order in ERP. Ø Take discussion for new pattern making based on complexity of pattern. Ø Review new design & development on production shop floor. Ø Review customer feedback & complains as per service departments inputs. Ø Suggest the better solutions for the service related complains and find root cause for same. Ø Visit supplier end for any guidance required in drawing study or machining. Ø Develop inspection gauges for QC Dept. And also develop Jig & Fixture for make smooth assembly. Required Skills

BE Mechanical with 7 to 10 years experience
