HVAC Project Engineer (AHU Projects)

An HVAC Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of Air Handling Units, ensuring projects meet technical standards, timelines, and budgets. This role blends engineering expertise with project management, requiring strong technical knowledge, communication skills, and compliance awareness.

Required Skill and qualification:

Ø Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical (or related field).

Ø Perform load calculation and select appropriate equipment (Chiller, AHU’s Duct etc)

Ø Verify that installations meet energy efficiency and sustainability requirements

Ø Evaluate and select suitable HVAC materials and equipment

Ø Act as the technical liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors.

Ø Strong knowledge of Duct design, HVAC equipment and materials.

Ø Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.

Ø Familiarity with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, and local building codes.

Ø Manage documentation, reporting, and client handover processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Supervise site activities, ensuring proper installation of chillers, AHUs, ducts, and piping.

Ø Act as the technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors.

Ø Oversee HVAC installations from conception to commissioning.

Ø Conduct meetings to align stakeholders on project milestones.

Ø Maintain project records, drawings, and compliance reports

Ø Ensure smooth handover to clients with proper documentation

Ø Update project schedules and track milestones

Ø Verify installation quality and compliance

Ø Prepare weekly progress reports for stakeholders.

Ø Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks

Ø Identify potential risks in design and execution phases.

Ø Implement mitigation strategies for delays, cost overruns, or technical failures

Ø Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks with site teams

Ø Build long-term client relationships through reliable delivery and support

Ø Standardize project documentation for scalability

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
