About the Role:
The Junior Financial Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Revenue & Financial Analysis team. This role will be responsible for applying financial, analytical, and business support for firm management. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Other key responsibilities include:
Develops analysis and responds to various requests by applying financial and analytical skills
Supporting experienced analysts in completing analytical and reporting tasks for origination requests as requested
Retrieves and reports financial balance information pertaining to client audits
Assists the team with creating and maintaining report and workflow documentation
Completes special projects on various issues as directed by management
Promotes effective work practices, works as a team member, and shows respect for co-workers
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact with people at all organizational levels
Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment with a customer-service focus
Possess the organizational skills to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
And have:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Statistics
A minimum of one (1) year of relevant or cumulative experience in related research and analysis areas

Pay Range: USD $75,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
