Responsibilities:

The Vice President, Growth & Digital is responsible for defining and leading Viceroy’s enterprise growth strategy across digital marketing, direct channels, and customer acquisition. This executive will build the vision, operating model, and capabilities that accelerate direct revenue, modernize marketing, and create a culture of data-driven decision making across both corporate and property teams.

Working cross-functionally with Commercial leadership, Sales, Revenue Management, Brand Marketing, Operations, IT, and Finance, this role will oversee the people, agency partners, technology, and strategic initiatives that drive long-term growth while empowering teams with the tools, education, and processes needed to execute successfully.

General Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

Growth Strategy & Commercial Leadership

Define and execute the company’s enterprise digital growth strategy.

Establish annual growth objectives, investment priorities, and measurement frameworks aligned with commercial goals.

Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities that increase direct revenue, profitability, and customer lifetime value.

Develop long-term roadmaps for digital marketing, customer acquisition, and digital transformation.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Growth & Digital organization.

Define team structure, responsibilities, and operating processes.

Manage external agency partners and strategic vendors while ensuring accountability and performance.

Foster collaboration between corporate teams and property-level marketing leaders.

Performance Marketing Oversight

Provide strategic oversight of paid media, metasearch, affiliate marketing, SEO, CRM, and emerging acquisition channels.

Guide investment strategy, channel mix, and budget allocation based on business objectives and performance.

Establish testing and optimization frameworks that continuously improve marketing effectiveness.

Customer Growth & Digital Experience

Champion initiatives that improve customer acquisition, retention, and direct booking performance.

Partner with brand, and integrated marketing teams to create connected customer experiences across owned channels.

Support initiatives that improve website performance, conversion, and digital customer journeys.

Analytics & Performance Measurement

Establish KPI frameworks and executive reporting that connect marketing investment to business outcomes.

Promote a culture of experimentation through measurement, testing, attribution, and incrementality where appropriate.

Ensure leaders across the organization have visibility into performance and actionable insights.

Marketing Technology & Innovation

Guide the evolution of the marketing technology ecosystem to improve efficiency, automation, and customer insights.

Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and digital tools that support long-term business growth.

Partner with IT and digital teams to prioritize technology investments that create scalable competitive advantages.

Change Management & Capability Building

Lead digital transformation initiatives across the organization.

Educate corporate and property teams on performance marketing, digital best practices, and evolving consumer trends.

Develop frameworks, playbooks, and governance that create consistency while allowing properties flexibility to meet local market needs.

Champion innovation and continuous learning across the marketing organization.

Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications:

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital marketing, growth, performance marketing, or commercial strategy, with experience leading enterprise or multi-brand organizations.

Demonstrated success developing and executing growth strategies that drive measurable business results, including customer acquisition, direct revenue growth, and marketing ROI.

Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams while managing agency and external partner relationships.

Strong understanding of performance marketing channels, including paid search, paid social, metasearch, affiliate marketing, SEO, and emerging digital platforms.

Experience partnering cross-functionally with Revenue Management, Commercial, Brand Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Technology to achieve shared business objectives.

Knowledge of marketing analytics, attribution, incrementality testing, and performance measurement, with the ability to translate insights into executive-level business decisions.

Experience evaluating and implementing marketing technology, customer data, CRM, AI, and digital solutions that improve organizational effectiveness and customer experience.

Proven ability to lead organizational change, establish scalable processes, and drive adoption of new capabilities across corporate and property teams.

Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and aligning stakeholders around strategic initiatives.

Hospitality, travel, luxury, or consumer brand experience preferred.

Compensation

This Marketing role pays $225k-$250k/yr. Within typical range for marketing roles in United States.
