Key job responsibilities
As the Manager, Prime Air Enterprise Systems, reporting to the organization Director, you will drive overall program level enterprise systems strategy, roadmaps, and execution. This includes enterprise tools such as, but not limited to: enterprise resource planning, demand and supply planning, manufacturing execution systems, product lifecycle and engineering definition systems, work flow management, Prime Air Systems (aircraft and ground systems) maintenance system, and collaboration tools. The product manager leads a team to quickly and efficiently deliver results, drive improvement, and ensure that the Prime Air program plan can be achieved.
You work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver large or significant features successfully. Your efforts result in measurable improvements to your customer’s experience.
You own defining the strategic vision for major features or a product, establishing a roadmap, and have a track record of successfully driving internal and external technical teams to deliver on that vision. You make crisp decisions about what projects move forward and in what priority order. You successfully manage all stages of the lifecycle (from concept to delivery).
You understand the architecture of the systems and technologies behind your product (e.g., workflows, APIs, runtime characteristics, design limitations, and maintenance requirements).
You are able to influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions. You successfully make a case for resource allocation to achieve a desired customer or business outcome.
You communicate ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, to all types of audiences. You are able to write narratives, PR/FAQs, and other strategic documentation.
You foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues (build consensus). You partner successfully with technical and non-technical customers, stakeholders, compliance, and engineering teams.
Your product management practices set a great example to others. You routinely and efficiently deliver the right things. You are a simplifier. You judiciously add, refine, and remove features. You proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of your team and stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks.
You actively participate in the hiring process and mentor others.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products
Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
Experience with end to end product delivery

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
