Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer
Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Principal Mixed-Signal Design Engineer within the Advanced Cores Group (ACG) you will work on the development of ADC, DAC, and/or SerDes PHY subsystems for highly sophisticated mixed-signal system-on-chip (SoC) integrated circuit products using FinFET wafer technologies. The Advanced Cores Group develops innovative, state of the art, high-performance circuits as often shown by presentations at premier conferences and publications in premier journals. Your work will include:
Developing and selecting mixed-signal subsystem implementation architectures.
Designing challenging transistor-level mixed-signal integrated circuits.
Preparing effective design documents and conduct effective design reviews.
Leading mixed-signal integrated circuit subsystem development efforts.
Mentoring mixed-signal design engineers.
Guiding mixed-signal integrated circuit layout.
Guiding mixed-signal integrated circuit evaluation and test.
Qualifications
MS Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of mixed-signal integrated circuit development experience.
Deep understanding of data converter architectures and specifications and/or deep understanding of SerDes PHY architectures and specifications
Deep understanding of mixed-signal design fundamentals, design tools, and methodologies.
Solid understanding of integrated circuit product development, including design, verification, evaluation, test, and qualification.
Successful experience developing challenging mixed-signal integrated circuits for commercial applications.
Strong technical leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
