Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design secure, scalable, and highly available GCP solutions.
Build and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform/Pulumi across Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage.
Design networking, IAM, security, hybrid connectivity, and governance frameworks.
Architect and manage Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) platforms.
Lead cloud migration, modernization, and platform transformation initiatives.
Implement CI/CD, GitOps, observability, and SRE best practices.
Drive FinOps, cost optimization, and cloud governance.
Establish security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery standards.
Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, and stakeholder collaboration.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years in Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or Solution Architecture with 5+ years of GCP experience.
Strong expertise in GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, IAM, and Networking.
Hands-on experience with Terraform/Pulumi, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures.
Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and tools such as Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and Argo CD.
Knowledge of GCP security, networking, governance, monitoring, and hybrid cloud architectures.
Experience with Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and SRE practices.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
Certifications
Google Professional Cloud Architect ( Preferred)
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) (Preferred)
Nice to Have
Anthos and hybrid/multi-cloud experience.
Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, and analytics services.
FinOps, cloud governance, and cost optimization.
Security Command Center (SCC), Chronicle, and Zero Trust.
SRE practices, SLIs/SLOs, Error Budgets, and DORA Metrics.
Pre-sales, solution architecture, and enterprise cloud transformation experience.
