Job Introduction
Ready to lead a team of service professionals in a high-tech automation environment? As Field Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Benelux Field Service team and Training Centre, helping your team deliver exceptional service while building strong customer relationships and driving continuous improvement. This role offers the best of both worlds, with approximately 70% of your time spent in the office and 30% in the field, keeping you closely connected to both your team and our customers.

WHAT YOU’LL BE HANDLING
You ensure that sufficient resources are in place to support customers by working with the Field Service planner, managing customer expectations in line with contracted SLA’s, and ensuring all escalations are handled quickly and effectively following the TGW escalation strategy
You manage and develop the Benelux Training Centre and team, are actively engaged with all team members' training and development, ensuring one-to-one reviews and personal development plans are completed, and are actively involved in apprentice development for both mobile and non-mobile apprentices
You are part of the LTS quality management team and undertake audits, reviews and corrective actions, as required
You cooperate with the projects department to provide resources where possible for installation, support and commissioning as required and are responsible for producing resource plans against known and forecast projects to identify any expected over- or under-capacity
You ensure your teams are trained and kept up to date on Health & Safety legislation and safe working procedures, manage and produce all requirements of risk assessments, safe working procedures, COSHH and PPE procedures, work safely, follow all Health & Safety requirements, and manage an environment of zero accidents within the team
You build strong and long-term relationships with all TGW teams and work closely with all central services managers to ensure a one-team approach and develop strategies to cross-skill the internal teams
You stay up to date with the technical aspects of TGW products, TGW software and IT infrastructure and provide effective feedback to TGW and the customer, including site meetings if required
You are proactive and consider ways in which TGW can add more value to our customers' business and look for opportunities that can add value for the customer and create possible revenues for TGW
You are responsible for holidays, absence, and overtime to meet department requirements without exceeding budgetary constraints and conduct monthly performance reviews with the Head of Technical Services
You produce internal quotations for support
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You have previous experience in a management/leading role within an automated materials handling environment and have an engineering background
You are skilled in the management of budgets and action trackers
You have previous experience of providing high-quality management information
You are a highly self-motivated team player who can interact with a large group of stakeholders both externally and within the TGW group
You are an excellent communicator with strong relationship management skills
You have experience of managing a large, diverse team across multi-disciplines
You have experience of managing teams in a remote environment
You live close to Breda or surrounding areas
You have good communication skills in Dutch and English language
