Vehicle Crossing Attendant
About the role
We have started a new project in Middlewich - CW10 and are looking for an experienced Labourer with good communication skills:
Covering the railway with a large tarpaulin sheet in-between trains.
Brushing the rail way clean after the plant has passed over it.
Placing down tyres if a tracked machine needs to cross.
Recording the times that each train passes and how long the railway is closed for.
Signing for imported stone and keeping the tickets safe.
Possible other labouring duties
You must have a minimum of five years site experience a valid CSCS/CPCS/NPORS card and your own transport.
All other training relevant to the role will be provided along with PPE.
Site working hours 7.30-17.00
Starting date ASAP
Rate negotiable depending on the experience.

Essential Requirements:
Proven experience as a Labourer
Relevant railway experience will be adventageous
Good understanding of site safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
