Typical Job Summary:
As a Financial Analyst you will play a key role in providing financial insights and analysis to support decision making within the company. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to improve financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and clients
Develop financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements and performance indicators
Monitor and evaluate financial performance and make recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial analysis
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or related role
Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
Experience with financial software and tools such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
CPA or CFA certification is a plus
Pay: $77,090.05 – $136,740.65 per year
Work Location: In person

This Finance role pays $77k-$137k/yr. Within typical range for finance roles in Australia.
