About the role

As our business continues to, we are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead the company's sales, business development and marketing functions. This is a newly established full-time permanent management position reporting directly to senior management and will play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening the company's market presence, and developing long-term relationships with government, commercial and institutional clients

Key responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company's sales and marketing strategies to achieve sustainable business growth and increase market share.

Identify new business opportunities, analyse market trends and competitor activities, and develop strategic growth initiatives.

Lead the company's business development activities by establishing and maintaining relationships with government agencies, developers, consultants, contractors and key industry stakeholders.

Oversee the preparation of marketing strategies, promotional campaigns and brand positioning to enhance the company's profile within the construction and project management sectors.

Direct the development and implementation of client relationship management strategies to strengthen customer retention and generate repeat business.

Work closely with senior management to identify and pursue major project opportunities, including government and private sector procurement and tender opportunities.

Prepare sales forecasts, marketing budgets, business performance reports and strategic recommendations for senior management.

Lead, mentor and manage sales and marketing personnel to achieve business objectives and maintain high performance standards.

Represent the company at industry events, networking functions and stakeholder meetings to promote the company's services and establish strategic partnerships.

Selection criteria:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Management, Commerce or a related discipline.

Demonstrated experience in a senior sales and marketing management role with responsibility for developing and implementing strategic business growth initiatives.

Proven ability to develop commercial opportunities and build strong relationships with government agencies, commercial clients, developers and key industry stakeholders.

Strong strategic planning, leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Experience preparing sales forecasts, marketing plans and business performance reports.

Previous experience within the building, construction, engineering or project management industry will be highly regarded; applicants with transferable senior sales and marketing management experience from other industries are also encouraged to apply.

Salary: $130,000 per annum (base), plus superannuation
