Truck Driver
About the role
A Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within local and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive and operate a lorry for deliveries within local and nearby regions.
Plan routes for efficient and timely deliveries
Communicate with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Follow traffic laws, weight restrictions, and company safety policies.
Skills & Requirements:
Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) license (Category C).
Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
Good knowledge of local roads and routes.
Strong time management to meet delivery schedules.
Ability to lift and move heavy loads safely.
Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor truck or crane maintenance.
Strong awareness of road safety, lifting safety, and legal regulations.
Good communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and dispatch teams.
Ability to work independently and handle unexpected issues on the road.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, can ensure safe and efficient goods transportation.
Mini plant experience preferred but not essential
