We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and are committed to creating a safe, inclusive workplace where our people can thrive and do meaningful work.

We work collaboratively to enrich our customers’ experience of our services, provide the information people need to get around safely and smoothly, and engage with Victorians about how they live and move, now and into the future.

About the role

The Digital Product Manager is accountable for the end-to-end ownership, strategy and delivery of digital products and the data that powers DTP’s customer-facing digital channels, with a primary focus on real-time and disruptions information. The role defines the product vision, strategy and roadmap, ensuring digital services and operational data are accurate, timely, reliable and fit-for-purpose across the PTV app, Transport Victoria website and related platforms, delivering measurable customer and business outcomes.

Operating within complex technical, operational and policy environments, the role provides product leadership across multidisciplinary teams, balancing strategic objectives with operational realities while embedding governance, continuous improvement and evidence-based prioritisation throughout the product lifecycle. The position acts as the accountable product lead for data reliability in digital channels, overseeing proactive monitoring, rapid troubleshooting and coordinated resolution of issues that impact customer information and service continuity.

Working collaboratively across business, technology, design, data and operations, the role ensures digital products and supporting data pipelines are accessible, secure, scalable and aligned with organisational priorities. The position also leads collaboration across Data & Digital, operational teams and industry operators to uplift data quality, standards and governance at source, enabling resilient, automated publishing models and reducing reliance on manual content processing and reactive fixes.
