HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a Platform Systems Integration Engineer to join one of our valued client partners in Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This onsite opportunity is ideal for an experienced software engineer who excels at building scalable backend systems while confidently contributing across the full application stack.

This position focuses on designing, developing, and deploying production-ready software for an AI-powered operations platform serving the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will take ownership of end-to-end feature delivery, strengthen platform architecture, improve production reliability, and collaborate closely with a small engineering team operating in a fast-moving product environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy production-ready software across backend and frontend services.

Own complete feature delivery from technical design through production deployment.

Build scalable backend services and APIs with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

Contribute to application architecture, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and platform scalability.

Improve CI/CD automation, monitoring, and production stability.

Participate in production support, incident response, and system optimization.

Collaborate with engineering leadership to improve software quality and development velocity.

Review code, contribute to engineering standards, and promote best development practices.

Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term technical solutions.

Continuously identify opportunities to improve platform performance and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional Full-Stack Software Engineering experience.

Strong production experience with TypeScript and Python.

Demonstrated backend engineering expertise with the ability to contribute across the full technology stack.

Experience building scalable distributed applications and production systems.

Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong understanding of software architecture and modern engineering principles.

Experience supporting production systems and participating in operational troubleshooting.

Professional conversational English communication skills.

Ability to work effectively within overlapping U.S. business hours.

Comfortable working in a high-performance, fast-paced engineering environment.

Must currently reside in or near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Authorized to work in Brazil.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing production infrastructure and distributed system architecture.

Previous startup or hypergrowth technology company experience.

Experience supporting small engineering teams where individual ownership is critical.

Strong debugging and production incident response experience.

Experience with AI-powered software platforms or SaaS products.

Demonstrated history of delivering production features with minimal supervision.

Stable employment history demonstrating continued technical growth and increasing engineering responsibility.

HireNow Package

Compensation: $96,000–$120,000 USD annually
