Technical Product Owner

Experience: 7–10 Years (Preferred)

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the delivery of AI-powered and API-driven products. The ideal candidate will bridge business and engineering teams by translating product vision into actionable user stories, managing product backlogs, and ensuring the successful execution of Agile delivery processes.

This role requires a strong understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, Azure Cloud, AI/LLM technologies, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts. The candidate should possess excellent stakeholder management skills and be capable of driving product execution while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical excellence.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Ownership

Understand the product vision, business objectives, and feature roadmap.

Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog.

Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.

Ensure delivered features meet business requirements, user expectations, AI performance standards, and technical quality.

Balance feature development, AI enhancements, technical debt, and defect resolution while maintaining delivery velocity.

Participate in product discovery and roadmap planning.

Agile Delivery

Facilitate Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Work closely with engineering teams to remove blockers and resolve cross-functional dependencies.

Monitor sprint progress, delivery timelines, and team capacity.

Track Agile metrics such as:

Velocity

Burndown

Throughput

Continuously improve Agile processes and delivery predictability.

Technical Program Management

Coordinate release planning and deployment readiness with Product, Release Management (RTM), and Engineering teams.

Manage risks, dependencies, and delivery schedules.

Drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Data, and QA teams.

Ensure production readiness and successful feature rollout.

Technical ResponsibilitiesAPI & Integration

Interpret SQL queries for validation and analysis.

Required Experience

7+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Technical Program Manager.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum product development environments.

Hands-on experience delivering API-driven enterprise applications.

Experience working with cloud-native platforms and AI-enabled products.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Agile/Scrum Certification (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent) preferred.

Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.

Experience with enterprise SaaS or AI-driven products is highly desirable.
