Messaging Engineer

We are currently seeking a Messaging Engineer to join our team in Bangalore or Remote, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Key Responsibilities

Migration Execution: Plan and execute full lifecycle T2T migrations for Exchange mailboxes, OneDrive accounts, SharePoint Online sites, and Microsoft Teams workloads. [1, 2]

Assessment Discovery: Perform source-tenant readiness checks, identify risks (e.g., conflicting domains, custom applications, compliance policies), and define migration waves. [1, 2]

Identity Access Management: Map source user identities and groups to the destination tenant using Microsoft Entra ID. Handle complex T2T challenges like dual-enrollment for Intune and cross-tenant coexistence. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Scripting Automation: Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts for pre-migration reporting, user attribute mapping, and post-migration validation. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Stakeholder Support: Facilitate cutover "war rooms," address end-user technical blockers, and create technical runbooks for IT support. [1, 2]

Required Qualifications Skills

Experience: 7+ years of experience in systems administration and messaging platforms, specifically supporting large-scale MA (Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures) integrations. [1, 2]

Tool Expertise: Hands-on experience utilizing enterprise migration tools such as BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, Quest On Demand, or native Microsoft Exchange moves. [1, 2]

M365 Core Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Exchange, Active Directory, Hybrid environments, and DNS management. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Scripting: Strong proficiency in PowerShell for bulk operations, automation, and reporting. [1, 2]

Certifications: Preferred credentials include Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate or Enterprise Administrator Expert
