Compliance Director – MAS License
About the role
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end MAS Payment Services Act (PSA) licence application (likely Major Payment Institution).
Prepare and submit regulatory documentation, including business model, AML/CFT framework, risk assessment, and compliance policies.
Act as the main liaison with MAS throughout the application process.
Develop and implement compliance programmes covering KYC, CDD/EDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and AML/CFT controls.
Draft and maintain compliance policies and SOPs aligned with MAS regulations.
Work closely with product, technology, and business teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
6–10 years of compliance experience in payments, fintech, banking, or financial services.
Hands-on experience with MAS regulations and PSA licence applications.
Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory compliance.
Experience in high-volume payment, e-wallet, gaming, or fintech environments is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Pay: $8,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month
