K-5 Reading Intervention and Math Tutor

Tutors Impacting Public Schools (TIPS) is hiring classroom tutors to improve student success, support teacher and school needs, and enrich public school classrooms for the 2026-2027 school year! More details about our work and impact can be found on our website here.

In this position you will:

Support grades 4-5 with Math via small groups, as well as 1.5 hours of lunch/recess supervision at West Woodland Elementary (5601 4th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107).

Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects

Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills

Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration

Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!

Get paid $25.50/hour
