Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re searching for a dynamic Key Account Manager to champion both the Hy-Tec Concrete and Adbri Quarries brands across Brisbane and South East Queensland.
This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in accelerating strategic growth, expanding market share, and building lasting customer partnerships for two of the most respected brands in construction materials. You’ll be at the forefront of major infrastructure and high-rise projects, working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, developers, government agencies, and project owners to deliver innovative solutions and sustainable commercial outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Grow and manage a strategic portfolio of major accounts across Brisbane and South East Queensland
Build and nurture relationships with key contractors, developers, and project stakeholders
Secure and project pipelines in infrastructure, high-rise residential, and commercial sectors
Identify and win major opportunities across roads, rail, water, ports, energy, and transport
Partner with government agencies, consultants, and project owners to deliver value-added solutions
Negotiate long-term supply agreements and oversee contract performance
Drive customer retention and protect key accounts from competitors
Collaborate with internal teams to align operational capacity and customer needs
Support tailored product and technical solutions for complex projects
Maintain CRM systems to forecast demand and manage sales pipelines
Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Champion a strong safety culture in line with Adbri and regulatory standards
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in key account management, strategic sales, or account management within construction, building materials, or a related industry
Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and deliver commercial results
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and contract management skills
Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and deliver innovative customer solutions
Understanding of concrete, quarry materials, and/or construction supply chain logistics
Experience engaging with contractors, developers, government agencies, or infrastructure stakeholders
High responsiveness, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
Experience with SAP, Power BI, or Salesforce is highly regarded
Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, marketing, or a related discipline are highly regarded
Current driver’s licence and willingness to undertake regular customer and site visits
