Based in Perth, as the State Operations Manager for Western Australia you will be responsible

for leading the operational staff and overseeing the successful delivery of customer services

and programs across the State. Working closely with the State management team, you’ll ensure

that services meet contractual, legislative, reporting and organisational requirements whilst

supporting staff capability, customer outcomes and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the State Manager you will have demonstrated senior management and proficient

leadership experience within the community housing sector with strong knowledge of social

and affordable housing and a thorough understanding and commitment to best practice, policy

and legislation.

You will be an inspirational, values driven leader with a passion for social justice and for

supporting people and communities to reach their full potential, with the commitment to work

collaboratively across the organisation, whilst empowering your team to deliver operational

excellence within best practice principles.

The successful candidate will have excellent people management skills, an appetite for

innovation, display a proficient business and financial acumen and have a tertiary qualification

in a business or housing related discipline.

In addition, you will have the proficient communication and stakeholder management skills that

are required to manage and enhance commercial partnerships and stakeholder relationships

across the State. You will also have key experience providing operational input into new

developments, including target cohorts, rent modelling, apartment and interior design, safety,

accessibility, functionality and operational readiness.

As the State Manager, Operations you will also be responsible for supporting effective

mobilisation planning, including establishing operational processes, identifying workforce

requirements, developing resourcing models and ensuring teams have the capabil ity, systems

and support required to successfully deliver services from commencement. This will require

close collaboration with internal teams, project stakeholders and external partners to anticipate

challenges, manage risks and ensure new services transition smoothly into operations.
