Due to growth, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Saunders International team.
What You'll Do
Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate projects in accordance with the project execution plan.
Integrate Saunders International quality systems with project-specific requirements, including developing or adapting systems to suit project plans.
Ensure applicable standards, codes, and regulatory requirements are identified and implemented across all activities.
Promote and support Safe Act Observations (SAOs) and workplace inspections in alignment with Saunders International objectives.
Prepare and compile project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure compliance with their requirements.
Monitor and verify project delivery compliance, including subcontractors across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, tanks, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
Coordination and ordering of materials for site.
Ensure implementation and compliance with project Quality Assurance (QA) plans
About you:
Tertiary qualification or advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
General WHS Induction for construction (White Card, Blue Card).
Enthusiasm for the role and a willingness to learn.
Willingness to participate in a productive and friendly team culture.
Strong communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Practical approach to identifying and solving problems.
