Job Purpose:

The Senior Manager oversees all operations related to Plastic, Thixo molding and Powder Coating, ensuring efficient production, high-quality standards, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This role drives continuous improvement, cost optimization, and team development to support business objectives.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Lead and manage daily operations of plastic/Thixo molding and powder coating department

Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste

Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements

Manage budgets, resources, and production schedules to meet targets

Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Launch, Maintenance, Quality) to resolve issues and drive innovation.

Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying risks and opportunities.

Critical experiences required to be ready for this job:

Minimum 8 years’ experience in manufacturing, with at least 3 years in plastic molding and powder coating operations.

Proven track record of leading teams and managing complex production environments.

Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Strong knowledge of quality systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Demonstrated ability to drive change, manage budgets, and deliver business results.
