ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

Manage a portfolio of assigned countries for VAT/GST compliance purposes

Support the preparation, review and submission of VAT/GST and related indirect tax filings.

Perform VAT reconciliations and tax accounting controls

Monitor compliance deadlines and maintain supporting documentation

Liaise with external service providers and local finance teams

Support tax audits, information requests and tax authority enquiries.

Identify anomalies and perform data quality checks on tax-relevant transactions.

Support implementation of tax technology, e-invoicing and process improvement initiatives

Assist with month-end and year-end tax accounting activities

Contribute to maintain a robust tax control environment.

Qualifications:

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

7 -12 years work experience in an accounting/VAT environment within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure.

Hands on experience in International Taxation

Working knowledge of Oracle / OBIEE (or equivalent financial systems) is highly desirable.

Ability to multitask to stand up to pressure and meet tight deadlines

Good communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external customers at all level

Demonstrate high level proficiency in MS office applications like Excel, Word, Power Point with experience using AI tools as co pilot to enhance productivity.

Proficiency in spoken and written English; other languages are beneficial

Attention to Detail

Strong analytical skills

Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions
