About the role
Job Description:
Experienced Service Engineer specializing in IBMS and Security Systems, responsible for end-to-end service delivery including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and project execution. Expertise in managing BMS, Power SCADA, PLC, Niagara platforms, and integrated security systems to ensure system reliability and uptime. Adept at handling customer complaints within SLA, building strong client relationships, and supporting revenue growth through AMC and retrofit opportunities. Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, optimize service operations, and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining:
Building Management Systems (BMS)
Power SCADA
PLC & Niagara platforms
Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS)
Security systems including Access Control (ACS), CCTV, Fire Alarm System (FAS), Public Address (PA), VESDA, and Water Leak Detection (WLD)
Preference for candidates with experience in Data Center (DC) projects / service delivery
Complaint & Incident Management
Manage and resolve customer complaints within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Perform troubleshooting for IBMS, BMS, and security systems
Ensure timely coordination and follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain accurate records, logs, and service reports
Preventive Maintenance Planning
Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM) schedules
Coordinate closely with customers to minimize system downtime and breakdowns
Ensure adherence to maintenance standards and documentation
Customer Relationship Management
Engage with customers regularly to understand operational needs
Address issues proactively within SLA timelines
Act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Project Execution & Commercial Control
Monitor and coordinate with clients and vendors for smooth execution of service projects
Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and compliance
Maintain project documentation for revenue tracking and billing
Manage cash flow and receivables, ensuring healthy DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
Business Development Support
Identify opportunities for:
Third-party AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) sales
Retrofit and upgrade projects
Provide technical support for lead generation and pre-sales activities
Preferred Competencies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective stakeholder management and communication
Customer-centric approach with commercial awareness
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
(External) English Qualifications:
Diploma in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience,
OR
B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) / Electrical & Electronics (EEE) with 6 - 8 years of relevant experience
