Responsibilities

Safely load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques

Manage stock levels through accurate picking, packing, stocking, and inventory control procedures

Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records in real-time

Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet safety and quality standards before dispatch or storage

Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipment details, preparing labels, and organizing packages for dispatch

Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency throughout the warehouse

Perform routine mechanical maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions promptly

Skills

Proven experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, and warehouse operations

Proficiency with forklift operation and certification preferred but not required

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing

Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload activities, and prolonged standing or walking

Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance

Attention to detail for quality control checks and accurate order picking & packing

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £26,420.00-£40,171.07 per year
