We're looking for someone with a positive approach, strong analytical and communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Experience in management or financial accounting, knowledge of accountancy principles, and the ability to build effective working relationships are essential. Knowledge of NHS finance, management accounting, costing procedures, financial regulations and relevant legislation would be advantageous but is not essential.
Travel Locations
Both roles involve some travel, with one role covering Hertfordshire and the other covering South West London.
Support the delivery of high-quality financial management services across the Trust as part of the Financial Management team.
Assist the Senior Finance Analyst and Finance Business Partner in providing timely financial advice and support to budget holders.
Produce accurate financial reports and robust monitoring information to support effective decision-making and financial performance.
Help directorates understand and manage their budgets, ensuring the Trust meets its financial responsibilities.
Support budget setting, forecasting and financial planning activities, identifying risks and opportunities where appropriate.
Analyse financial information and contribute to the preparation of reports that inform operational and strategic decisions.
Build positive working relationships with colleagues across clinical and corporate services, providing responsive financial guidance and support.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the finance function by promoting accurate reporting, effective financial processes and best practice.
Develop your technical knowledge and professional skills through study, mentoring and practical experience while supporting the team's objectives.
