Position Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented International Trade & Marketing Intern who is eager to begin a career in international trade, marketing, and global business. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or final-year students seeking hands-on experience while supporting international consulting projects, trade promotion initiatives, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and coordination of international trade events and promotional activities.
Prepare activity reports, post-event summaries, and project documentation.
Support networking initiatives with clients, buyers, and industry partners.
Assist with market research and monitor industry trends.
Help maintain project records and support administrative and operational processes.
Conduct outreach and follow-up communications with stakeholders when needed.
Support River Global’s consulting team with trade promotion and business development initiatives.
Coordinate meetings and assist with day-to-day project activities.
Qualifications
Final-year university student or recent graduate in Marketing, International Business, International Relations, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
Previous internship or extracurricular experience is a plus but not required.
Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
Spanish proficiency is preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in an international business environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Interest in international trade, marketing, business development, and event management.
