Position Description

The Finance Manager will serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and Channel leaders, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance and achieve key objectives. This role will own P&L management, forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and financial reporting while leading strategic initiatives that support growth and operational efficiency. The Finance Manager will also lead and mentor a Senior Financial Analyst, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

Partner with key business leaders within Sales, Marketing, and Channel to deliver on business objectives.

Provide Support for Month End Reporting, Forecasting, & Budget Process

Lead preparation of profitability analysis for a business unit

Prepare and present recurring financial reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses that provide meaningful insights to senior leadership.

Development and implementation of new reporting tools to meet growing business demands

Lead return on investment (ROI) analysis for promotional plans

Lead strategic financial projects

Own P&L performance by analyzing monthly variances, identifying key financial drivers, and presenting findings and recommendations to the Consumer Leadership Team on a monthly basis

Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements

Lead, coach, and mentor a Senior Financial Analyst, fostering professional development, accountability, and high-quality deliverables.

What You Will Bring

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

CPA designation or equivalent

5+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience, preferably within a large corporate environment, including commercial finance experience.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using Microsoft Access considered an asset.

Experience with SAP and/or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is an asset.

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive initiatives from planning through execution.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights.

Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement in all aspects of work.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
