Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher

Overview We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to support our kitchen team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our restaurant, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas are always clean and ready for use. Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment by hand and using commercial dishwashing machines

Sort, stack, and store clean items in their proper places

Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of clutter throughout the shift

Empty trash and recycling bins regularly and break down boxes as needed

Sweep and mop the kitchen and dish area floors to maintain cleanliness and safety

Assist cooks with basic food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables

Help receive deliveries and properly store ingredients and supplies

Clean kitchen surfaces, sinks, walls, and equipment according to sanitation standards

Take out trash, clean garbage areas, and maintain outdoor cleanliness as needed

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times

Support the kitchen team during busy service times wherever needed

Requirements

No prior experience required - training will be provided

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot, and sometimes loud environment

Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Good attention to detail and basic time management skills

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working with hot water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
