Job Description:

Support CMDB Strategy Architecture

oDefine and maintain the CMDB strategy data model and architecture aligned with banking regulatory and operational requirements

oDesign configuration item CI classes attributes and relationships across infrastructure applications cloud and thirdparty services

oEnsure CMDB alignment with ITIL ITSM processes including Incident Change Problem Release and Asset Management

Enforce Data Quality Governance

oEnforce CMDB governance policies and standards

oMonitor and improve CMDB data quality including completeness accuracy timeliness and consistency

oImplement KPIs and dashboards for CMDB health and compliance

Discovery Integration

oLead implementation and optimization of automated discovery tools

oIntegrate CMDB with upstream and downstream systems

oValidate reconciliation rules and data normalization processes

Risk Compliance Alignment

oSupport regulatory and audit requirements eg operational resilience thirdparty risk

oEnable impact analysis dependency mapping and service visibility

oPartner with Risk Compliance and Audit teams to ensure CMDB data supports control testing and evidence requests

Change Service Impact

oEnsure CMDB is a trusted source for change impact analysis and service dependency mapping

oEmbed CMDB usage into Change Advisory Board CAB processes

oSupport major incident management with accurate service and infrastructure relationships

Leadership Advisory

oAct as a subject matter expert SME for configuration management within the bank

oMentor junior CMDB analysts or consultants

oAdvise senior stakeholders on CMDB maturity roadmap and value realization

Preferred Qualifications

oITIL Expert or ITIL 4 Managing Professional certification

oCMDB Service Mapping or platformspecific certifications

oExperience with multiregion hybrid cloud banking environments

oExposure to DevOps or SRE practices in regulated organizations

Key Competencies

oDeep expertise with enterprise CMDB platforms eg ServiceNow or equivalent

oStrong understanding of

IT infrastructure servers networks storage

Applications and middleware

Cloud platforms IaaS PaaS SaaS

oHandson experience with discovery reconciliation and data normalization

oITSM Frameworks

Strong working knowledge of ITIL v3 or v4 particularly Configuration Change Incident and Asset Management

Experience aligning CMDB with service mapping and business service models

oBanking Regulatory Awareness

Understanding of banking operational risk resilience and audit expectations

Experience supporting audits regulatory reviews and risk assessments using CMDB data

Experience

o8 years in IT Service Management Configuration Management or IT Operations roles

o4 years in a senior CMDB consultant or specialist role preferably within banking or financial services

oProven experience operating in highly regulated largescale enterprise environments
