Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Month end activities and data integrity, posting of month end adjustments/accruals/other Journal entries, validation errors and submission of financial data in Reporting System.

Ledger scrutiny and analysis with resolution]

Fixed asset Accounting (Creation, Disposal, Modifications, Depreciation, Reconciliation)

Reconciliation- Bank, Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions, AP, AR, Inter Company recons

General Ledger account maintenance,

MIS

Operational Excellence through Process documentation, Process Quality Initiatives

Attending to audit queries

Ensuring regular communication with Business Unit personnel to ensure issues are resolved immediately

SOX compliance for related activities

12-9pm/2-11pm/5:30pm - 2:30am (UK/US Timings)

What You Need to Succeed

Prior Experience

Journal Entry preparation and posting

Fixed Asset process understanding

Has been doing Reconciliation- Bank, Prepayments, Accruals, Provisions independently

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Ledger scrutiny

Qualification: B. Com/M.com or CA Inter/ CMA

Soft Skills

Team Player

Good communication skills

Quick Learner

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within a multi-cultural, international environment

Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Technical Skills

Accounting fundamentals: should be able to create journal entries on own.

Strong understanding of the process and should be able to understand accounting flow of entries in different types of accounts.

Basic MS Word & advanced Excel knowledge
