Roro HGV Driver

MAIN DUTIES

· To undertake the safe, secure and efficient movement of materials and equipment required for the business.

· Performing deliveries and collections to and from the customer sites, and other locations as required

· Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times to customers, the general public and other road users

· Check equipment is loaded/unloaded in a safe manner

· Ensure that the total payload does not exceed vehicle weight limited

· Use approved methods to secure the load of the vehicle

· Check paperwork to that delivery/collection loads are correct

· Ensure that all equipment on the vehicle is accounted for

· Visually inspect equipment being loaded and unloaded

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Must have RoRo experience.

· Holds a full clean driving licence valid in the UK, with no more than 6 points on Licence

· Holds a HGV Driving Licence

· Holds a CPC Licence

· Holds a Digi Taco Card

· Able to carry out manual handling tasks

· Reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking
