Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing is a growing housing provider committed to delivering safe, high-quality accommodation and person-centred support to individuals across our communities. We are seeking a passionate and confident Community Liaison Officer to strengthen relationships with local authorities, community organisations, tenants and key stakeholders across our Birmingham operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing within the community, helping us build strong partnerships that improve outcomes for our tenants and support the continued growth of our services.

About the Role

As our Community Liaison Officer, you will be the face of Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing across Birmingham, acting as the primary link between the organisation, local councils, community groups, partner agencies and our managing agents, Escada and BSH.

You will play a vital role in promoting positive community engagement, resolving concerns, strengthening stakeholder relationships and ensuring our organisation is represented professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact between Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing and local authorities across Birmingham.

Represent the organisation at council meetings, community forums and partnership events.

Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, community organisations, statutory agencies and managing agents.

Respond promptly and professionally to community concerns and complaints.

Support initiatives that promote tenant wellbeing and community cohesion.

Travel regularly across Birmingham to maintain an active presence at our sites.

Prepare reports and provide feedback to management on community engagement activities, risks and opportunities.

About You

You'll be an excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships and making a positive difference within local communities.

Essential

Experience in community engagement, stakeholder management or local authority liaison.

Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and public speaking skills.

Knowledge of the social housing, supported housing or charity sector.

Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.

Desirable

Existing relationships with Birmingham local authorities or community organisations.

Experience working with vulnerable adults or diverse communities.

Understanding of managing agent arrangements within the housing sector.
