Healthcare Assistant

Location: Solihull, B90

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Shifts: Part Time | Days | Monday- Friday | Term Time Only | 8am to 4pm

About This Role

We are supporting a friendly and outgoing 18-year-old young man who lives at home with his family in Solihull.

He enjoys attending his educational setting, spending time with friends, and taking part in activities he loves. Outside of his studies, he enjoys gaming on his PlayStation, watching Formula 1, cooking, and going swimming.

As part of his dedicated care team, you will provide support during term time within his educational setting. Your role will include assisting with personal care, moving and handling, and supporting his dietary and fluid needs, while helping him engage fully in his learning and daily activities.

You will play an important role in promoting his independence, confidence, and wellbeing, while providing consistent and person-centred support that helps him achieve his goals.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.

Have the right to work in the UK*

Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.

Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
