Job Description

What you can expect

Main Duties

Liaising with customers on a daily basis.

Processing customer request and booking shipments in line with customer request

Raising accurate shipment files in Rhenus’ in house forwarding system (ROCS) and all associated documents.

Ensure all costs & sales are entered for each shipment and highlighting any loss making files to the Team Leader

Receiving quotation enquiries for both Air import and export shipments

Answering Overseas office e-mails.

Dealing directly with the Airlines to obtain rates and make bookings

Following up on customer quotations for feedback.

Growing the airfreight business, contacting potential customers, engaging with customers on a regular basis

Liaising with suppliers / carriers in the booking of shipments

General office duties including filing of documentation and shipment files

Skills & Experience

Experienced in the handling of import / export multi modal shipments

Must be able to complete / understanding of Airfreight processes

Experience of DG by Air preferred, but not essential.

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Package
