Clinical Assistant Coordinator

Key competencies (role specific criteria)

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:

Proven ability to solve problems and show initiative in the workplace.

Demonstrated ability to effectively use computerised systems

Experience in pre-analytical processes and excellent troubleshooting abilities in a Microbiology specimen reception and pre-analytical processing section.

Demonstrated ability to arrange in-service training and continuing educational programs for clinical assistant staff and delivery of training programs for changes in Standard Operating Procedures or equipment.

Proven ability to manage time effectively in a highly process driven environment with competing priorities

Ability to plan and prioritise to effectively manage the customer service function in alignment with the overall strategic plan of the Department.
