Position Summary:
The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting the firm’s Examination Under Oath’s (EUO) service model and managing professional work flow arising from other high-volume assignments.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Managing file intake;
· Serving as a liaison with clients, law firms, and insured persons where an Examination Under Oath is required;
· Managing calendars and scheduling important dates for our legal teams;
· Arranging transportation and/or interpretation for witnesses or clients;
· Monitoring/managing incoming documentation and deadlines on files;
· Ensuring consistent follow-up and file tracking (utilizing excel spreadsheet);
· Coordinating with lawyers, clients, and court reporting offices to schedule examinations;
· Opening and closing files;
· Managing billings;
· Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Minimum education: Undergraduate university degree or law clerk diploma;
· Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment;
· Project management considered an asset;
· Experience in customer service considered an asset;
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines;
· Ability to adapt to changes priorities, think independently, and function as part of a team;
· Experience drafting legal documents and/or professional correspondence;
· Resourceful, independent, and excellent problem-solving skills;
· Competence working with Excel is required and a strong aptitude for working with different software is an asset;
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Compensation
This Legal role pays $50k-$60k/yr. Within typical range for legal roles in Canada.
