About the role
Your Mission
As a Working Student in Manual & Automated Testing for next‑generation in‑car infotainment systems, you will support our test teams across a wide range of activities, including both hands‑on system validation and the development of modern automation solutions.
Sneak preview of your future tasks
Manual & System Testing:
Flashing ECUs and preparing HW/SW for various testing activities
Setting up and maintaining test benches
Planning and executing test activities
Writing, reviewing, and executing manual test cases (on test setups)
Documenting test results and overall test progress
Creating and tracking bugs in collaboration with developers and feature teams
Test Automation & AI‑based Quality Engineering:
Analysing automated test results and identifying patterns or defects
Developing automated test cases for SW‑related components
Improving and maintaining existing automated test frameworks
Supporting the development of AI‑based tools for testing (e.g., intelligent log analysis, automated bug classification, test‑case generation, anomaly detection)
Contributing to test stability, reliability, and coverage improvements through scripting, tooling, and automation
Working closely with automation engineers to bring new test ideas into production
Your Profile
Education
You are currently pursuing a master’s degree (or equivalent) in electronic/embedded engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical field
You must be enrolled in a university for the entire duration of the employment
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of testing workflows (e.g., bug creation, test reporting)
First experience in software and/or hardware testing, ideally embedded systems
Experience with X-Ray or other test management tools
Scripting knowledge in Python and/or C/C++ (CAPL is a plus)
Experience with automated testing frameworks is a plus
Interest or initial experience in AI/ML tools for testing, data processing, or automation pipelines

Fluent in English; German is a plus
