Project Management Consultant
About the role
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of client projects.
Analyse client business requirements and recommend appropriate project management solutions.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Manage project scope, timelines, costs, quality, and deliverables.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Monitor project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare progress reports.
Facilitate project governance meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, contractual obligations, and industry standards.
Manage project changes through structured change management processes.
Advise clients on project management best practices, governance frameworks, and process improvements.
Conduct business process analysis and recommend operational efficiencies.
Support organisational change and business transformation initiatives.
Resolve project challenges and escalate critical issues where necessary.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed quality standards.
Prepare project documentation, including business cases, risk registers, project reports, and closure reports.
Perform post-project reviews and identify lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing strategic project management consultancy and ongoing support.
Pay: £56,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Birmingham B18 6BA
