Position Summary

The AI Academy Program Lead will build and lead an enterprise AI learning strategy that develops an AI-fluent workforce across the organization. This role is responsible for designing, launching, and continuously improving a scalable AI literacy program that enables teammates to confidently, responsibility, and ethically integrate artificial intelligence into daily work. The role will help transform the workforce into a competitive engine of innovation, speed, and precision by combining practical enablement, strong governance alignment, and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the enterprise AI literacy and AI academy strategy aligned to business priorities, workforce needs, and responsible AI principles

Build a multi-level AI learning curriculum for broad employee populations people leaders, functional teams, and specialized power users

Develop learning pathways covering foundational AI concepts, prompt writing, use-case identification, workflow redesign, responsible AI, data privacy, security, governance, and change adoption

Partner with business leaders, HR, Legal, Compliance, IT, Information Security, Data & AI, and Communications to ensure training content is practical, compliant, and aligned to enterprise standards

Create and manage an AI academy operational model, including course catalog, learning journeys, certification/badging, office hours, communities of practice, and train-the-trainer programs

Translate complex AI concepts into simple, engaging, business-relevant learning experiences for technical and non-technical audiences

Identify high-value use cases and embed role-based enablement that helps teams apply AI tools in daily operations

Establish standards for responsible and ethical AI usage, including guidance on human oversight, bias awareness, privacy, security, intellectual property, and acceptable use

Drive adoption of approved AI tools by creating practical playbooks, templates, examples, and internal communications

Measure program effectiveness through participation, proficiency, adoption, behavior change, productivity gains, and business outcomes

Monitor external AI trends, learning practices, and emerging risks to keep curriculum current and relevant

Build executive-facing updates, dashboards, and recommendations that communicate progress, risks, and opportunities

Lear or support pilots, workshops, and capability-building sessions that accelerate AI maturity across functions

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in a relevant field

Experience launching AI enablement, digital upskilling, or enterprise academy programs

Familarity with adult learning principles, instructional design, and learning technologies/LMS platforms

Experience in a large, matrixed organization

Experience creating role-based learning journeys and measurable capability frameworks

Revelant certifications in AI, learning design, change management, or project/program management

Success Measures

Increased AI literacy across teammate populations

Higher adoption of approved AI tools and workflows

Improved teamamtes’ confidence in using AI responsibility

Measurable productivity, quality, or cycle-time improvement tied to AI-enabled work

Strong alignment with governance, privacy, security, and compliance requirements

Positive learner feedback and sustained engagement with the AI academy

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Buisness, Technology, Data/Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

7+ years of experience in learning strategy, workforce enablement, capability building, change management, digital transformation, or a related field

Experience designing and scaling enterprise learning programs for broad and diverse audiences

Strong understanding of generative AI, AI literacy, and practical business applications of AI

Demonstrated ability to translate technical topics into accessible learning content for non-technical audiences

Experience partnering across HR, business functions, technology, legal/compliance, and communications

Strong program management, stakeholder manager, and executive communication skills

Experience with responsible AI topics such as ethics, bias, privacy, governance, and risk awareness
