Security Assistant Account Manager - Boston
Monday - Friday 10am-6pm
Manages security operations for an assigned client account, ensuring high-quality service delivery, personnel management, client satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Supports the Account Manager and may serve in that role when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and promptly addressing operational concerns.
Meet regularly with client representatives to review performance, resolve issues, support contract management, and update security plans, assessments, surveys, and post orders.
Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, developing, scheduling, and retaining security personnel.
Supervise staff performance, provide coaching and guidance, and administer corrective action when necessary.
Maintain a professional work environment and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
Oversee staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs and meeting client requirements.
Review site reports, inspect posts, and verify compliance with post orders, client directives, and security standards.
Manage operational resources, including uniforms, radios, vehicles, equipment, and inventory.
Maintain payroll records and other employee and business documentation.
Support company initiatives and assist in resolving legal, financial, human resources, and administrative matters.
Direct, motivate, train, evaluate, and develop employees to maximize performance and service quality.
Respond to emergencies and critical incidents on an on-call basis as required.
Education & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of security industry experience.
Minimum of 2 years of security supervisory experience preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practices.
Understanding of supervisory methods, employee development, and disciplinary processes.
Strong leadership, organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience scheduling personnel and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Ability to motivate teams, drive performance, and achieve results.
Familiarity with security equipment, controls, and related technology.
Proficiency with computers, including spreadsheet software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
Ability to work independently, use sound judgment, and contribute effectively to team projects.
