Job Description Principal DevOps Engineer Azure

Role Summary We are seeking a handson Principal DevOps Engineer to lead endtoend DevOps transformation with strong expertise in Azure Azure DevOps ADO SaaS Terraformbased IaC GitHub Enterprise and CICD pipeline engineering

This role will drive modernization of DevOps platforms migration from legacySAS environments and implementation of scalable secure highperformance delivery pipelines including adoption of Copilot for DevOps productivity

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead endtoend CICD DevOps pipeline across Dev QA Prod environments

Stand up and manage Azure DevOps SaaS ADO Cloud including repos pipelines and governance

Design and implement enterprisegrade CICD pipelines YAMLbased with standardized release and promotion strategies

Solve release management and environment promotion challenges across multiple environments

Implement Terraformled Infrastructure as Code IaC across AzureAWS environments

Drive migration from legacySAS platforms to Azure DevOps pipelines

Integrate and administer GitHub Enterprise GitHub Copilot with ADO SaaS

Implement DevSecOps practices including code scanning and security automation

Define and design DevOps ecosystem architecture tools orchestration monitoring governance

Drive automation and orchestration to eliminate manual effort and improve delivery velocity

Required Skills Strong experience with

Azure DevOps Pipelines Repos Releases ArtifactsAzure Cloud IaaSPaaS services Terraform Infrastructure as CodeCICD pipeline design and YAML frameworks

Expertise in Release management environment promotion strategies GitHub Enterprise integration DevSecOps security scanning compliance

Working experience in multicloud environments Azure AWS

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAS platform migration

Exposure to GitHub Copilot Microsoft Copilot in DevOps workflows

Knowledge of Docker Kubernetes

Experience

12 years overall IT experience

8 years in DevOps Cloud engineering

Proven experience in enterprise DevOps transformation handson leadership role

Soft Skills

Strong ownership and accountability mindset

Excellent stakeholder and client communication skills

Compensation range: $133,202.00 to $148,400.00 per year
