Summary
The Production Supervisor I is responsible for maintaining a safe and productive work environment, following all applicable regulations. Create a positive and highly effective working environment based on mutual respect and a shared goal of being the number one supplier to our customers. Establish and maintain a solid working relationship with both internal departments as well as external resources.
Responsibilities:
[Support Production Leadership]
Support Team Leader and Operations Part Leader for the department
Manage Work Orders and other related items and follow up with related supporting teams (equipment, facilities, shipping) for timely completion
Track KPI’s
Monitor and track department production results (daily) and communicate with production teams
Manage the daily production meeting results and track the action items
Track the action items assigned to Engineers, Supervisors, and Crew Leaders (Safety Meetings, WQM, Planning Meetings, etc.)
[Supervise Coordinators]
Supervise production and training coordinators and oversee their work activities
Maintain an environment that rewards good performance and encourages initiative, quality, communication, and efficiency
Provide timely and consistent feedback on performance, including following the defined disciplinary process for all employee performance issues
Manage overall training programs of hourly (Advanced training, Skill Matrix, Alert, skill evaluation, flexibility)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Associate Degree preferred
Experience:
3 to 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
1 to 3+ years of leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing
Experience in managing departmental, team member, and individual goals
Experience in managing performance, and a corrective action process as needed
Experience or knowledge of basic accounting systems preferred

This Other role pays $70k-$90k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in United States.
