The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and maintain geo data policies for brand new features on Google Maps.
Partner closely with Product managers, Operations leads, and other Google policy makers (Trust and Safety, Legal, Government Affairs) on policy creation.
Partner closely with the Tools and Machine Intelligence teams to ensure smooth integration of policy within Geo’s tools and algorithms.
Manage sensitive policy escalations and provide policy advice and guidance.
Manage the vendor relationship to ensure timely content creation, execution, and ongoing improvement to our policy programs.
