About this vacancy

The energy transition requires a robust and well-designed underground network. As an Electrical Engineer, you play a key role in translating client needs into concrete designs for the installation and replacement of cables and pipelines.

You work from our office in Helmond on projects for regional grid operators and utility companies, from conceptual design to detailed implementation drawings. Your role primarily focuses on the electrical discipline and makes a significant contribution to future-proofing the electricity grid.

What will you do?

Design routes for the installation or replacement of cables and pipelines for gas, water, and electricity, with an emphasis on electricity

Translate client needs into a technically logical and cost-efficient design

Maintain contact with clients within the grid operator and utility sectors

Coordinate with colleagues, such as planners, draftsmen, and contractors

Prepare execution budgets and material lists

Apply for permits

Monitor the progress, quality, and costs of your engineering projects

Create a delivery dossier

Organize work meetings, monitor deadlines, and make timely adjustments when necessary

Occasionally visit your projects on-site

What we expect from you

You are given a lot of responsibility and maintain close contact with various stakeholders. You take initiative, show ownership, and enjoy working in an environment where entrepreneurship is encouraged.

Completed education at MBO 4 or HBO level, supplemented with approximately 5 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge of AutoCAD

Strong collaboration with various stakeholders

Strong skills in planning and organizing

A proactive attitude and sense of responsibility
