Duties

Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements with precision and efficiency

Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment, then develop effective repair plans

Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components

Conduct heavy lifting tasks to move engines, transmissions, or other heavy parts safely and correctly

Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify potential problems before they escalate

Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers

Follow safety protocols consistently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components

Experience using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and socket sets

Proficiency with power tools used in vehicle repair and maintenance tasks

Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Prior experience in a vehicle repair or maintenance role is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is advantageous

Pay: £26,500.00-£32,000.00 per year
