About the role

Job Description:

Senior Project Manager, Manufacturing Transformation (SAP S/4HANA)

Join Our Team as a Senior Project Manager, Manufacturing Transformation

Join our Manufacturing organization as a Senior Project Manager, Manufacturing Transformation, where you will lead one of the most strategic business transformation initiatives for our operations: the migration from our legacy ERP platform (MAPICS) to SAP S/4HANA.

This role is a unique opportunity to drive large-scale digital transformation within a manufacturing environment, leading cross-functional teams through a complex ERP implementation that will shape the future of our operations. The selected candidate will act as the primary project leader, coordinating Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Engineering, IT, and external implementation partners to ensure a successful deployment while maintaining business continuity.

The SAP S/4HANA implementation is expected to be the primary focus during the first two years. After deployment, the position will evolve into a strategic Manufacturing Transformation leadership role, managing high-impact initiatives related to operational excellence, digitalization, productivity improvement, process optimization, automation, and Industry 4.0.

This position is based at our Mexico City Manufacturing Plant (Rojo Gómez) and requires an on-site presence.

What will you do?

Lead the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation for the manufacturing site, ensuring delivery against scope, budget, timeline, and business objectives.

Act as the primary point of contact between Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Engineering, IT, and external implementation partners.

Develop and execute detailed project plans, governance structures, communication plans, and risk mitigation strategies.

Coordinate business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, testing, data migration, training, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

Drive organizational change management and user adoption initiatives to ensure a successful transition to SAP S/4HANA.

Lead cross-functional project teams and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and operational impacts.

Manage project resources, budgets, timelines, and implementation partners.

Ensure alignment between manufacturing operational requirements and ERP system capabilities.

Facilitate executive updates and communicate project progress to senior leadership.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, productivity, and operational performance.

Lead future manufacturing transformation projects focused on digitalization, automation, process optimization, and operational excellence.

Apply Lean principles and project management best practices to improve business processes and deliver sustainable results.
